I was also at this talk that Amelia did in Boston and was very inspired and motivated after hearing her speak. While we have a number of acupuncturists working in the area of infertility in Boston and a few have spoken to our group, none of them touched us like Amelia.
She is unique in that she gets this issue on deep level, she’s truly concerned about the rise of infertility and most importantly, she really listens. At the end of her talk when she took questions, a few of the women shared their story and she really listened to them before offering her advice.
I think that this is the level of attention that is missing in the repro clinics and that’s why women are so confused and frustrated about their infertility. I think that Amelia is a beacon of light out there in the darkness of infertility and I wholeheartedly recommend that you invite her to speak to your group.
